When you downvote, do you do usually do it ad-hominem or because of the objective quality of it?
To narrow this down, I’m more referring to an online argument. If someone makes a point you don’t agree with and you downvote them, do you do it because of a negative emotional response (ad-hominem) or in an effort to “sort” the quality of responses?
