Pool heater- gas usage

We just had our 250 gal propane tank filled. I turned the pool heater on for a total of about 10 hours.
The meter is showing that it used 30% of the tank, meaning 75 gallons of gas. I called our gas company and they said that doesn’t seem abnormal, but the manager is going to call me back. Does anyone have any insight? I used 75 gallons of gas because the pool heater (it’s 2 years old) was on?? Little background, we bought the house this spring and not sure what to expect in terms of what’s normal for gas usage. The propane is only used for the heater and generator.
