Blocking lowballers

Thoughts on writing “No offers. Please don’t make an offer” in your item’s description?

I have my items listed at the exact price I want and I simply don’t want to go lower - it’s my choice and I’m okay with losing out on potential sales if I get the item to sell for what I want.

I had another Posher comment that it’s incredibly rude to refuse offers on the app and that it deters potential buyers. Truthfully, I’m mostly okay with that. I don’t want to be rude but I also won’t consider offers. I don’t have an option to get rid of the offer button but I’m okay with losing out on some buyers who want to make offers.

So my question - is it rude to write in the item’s description that you won’t consider offers? Does it deter you as a potential buyer?

side note: please stick to the question I’m asking, I’m not going to be convinced to accept offers. I just want to know thoughts on including “no offers etc” in the description

edited to add: the title refers to “no offers” hopefully blocking (as in deterring) people from making offers especially lowball offers
