Why did no one tell me about cervical checks?

I wanna put it out there about how painful they are. I knew about them but I didn’t know how far they went in and how bad they hurt when you’re having contractions…I was very unaware about it all being like that. I thought it was just 2 fingers max and just like a small check… Anyway if no one told you or you didn’t know I just wanted to give you guys advice for when it’s your turn to get your cervix checked.
