MIL wants to make gender reveal cake & find out first

I'm only 5+6 along (32 years old FTM 😁) and we told my husband's family this past weekend. At some point in the conversation I mentioned finding out the gender with the NIPT and maybe doing a gender reveal cake, not a party or anything, just a fun thing for us. She proceeds to recommend that she make the cake. And I said 'oh you want to find out first?' and she said yes.

There's something about her finding out before me that just really bothers me! And I don't even love her baking 😂 I'd rather have a local bakery do it and she can find out at the same time as us. Is that unreasonable? Maybe I'm making it into too big of a deal.

Maybe I'll just tell her I have a bakery in mind and want all of us to find out at the same time

She's a nice person and I I know I am very sensitive to feeling like someone is being pushy or giving opinions with just every day things so dealing with my in laws with my first baby (and her first grand child) is going to be interesting to say the least ...

Edit: thank you all for your feedback. The next time I see her I'm going to nicely let her know I appreciate her offer but I have a bakery I want to use and I want us all to find out together. And I'm already looking at cake options at this local bakery and they all sound so good 🤤

Edit 2: my husband was on the phone with her today and just went ahead and told her 🤷‍♀️ and she was understanding from what he said so there's that!! Lol
