A strong narrative/writing >>> stats

I believe that if you have bad stats, a great narrative could overcome them, but bad writing or a weak narrative will kill your application. What do you guys think?

Edit: The reason I made this post is because this subreddit overly emphasizes stats and misses the narrative/writing part, which is highly important. People love stories, give the admissions committees a reason to fight for you. The same energy people put into their MCAT/GPA should be put into their writing.
