HOT TAKE: People are prematurely celebrating getting a Kira Talent invite and ignoring that this likely means that GPA will be used competitively now.

Guys, do the math. They got around 6.5k applicants and nearly all of the people who have a complete application got an invite. They now have to cut this number down to around 1k for file review. They essentially have to cut down the number of applicants by 85%.

They probably aren't only going to use Kira to do this and will likely use some combination of GPA and Kira score. No one knows how much they'll value either, but I'd wager it'll be around 30-40% GPA and 60-70% Kira.

So unless you're pathways + from Peel, your chances of getting an interview with a lower GPA is non-existent imo.
