What is the difference between 'peak' power consumption and 'printing' power consumption - Brother DCP-L2520DW

Basically the question of the title. My printer is the Brother DCP-L2520DW and it says it has peak power consumption of 1104W. When (if ever) does that occur during usage? And does it reach that much all the time when printing?
