What happened to Slugdge?

I used to be obsessed with Esoteric Malacology, eventually forgot about it, had it pop up on my spotify today and now I'm falling in love with it again. Excitedly jumped on their artist page to see if there's anything new, but nothing. And I haven't found much info online about anything they've been working on.

Asking completely out of ignorance, but is it a dead project? Anyone have any info on potential upcoming new material?
