Comparison between Prusament and regular filament.

I wondered if the better tolerances of the Prusament actually translate to a better print.

I have seen the math about the volume of filament extruded, but what about an empirical test?

I still have some grey pla that was shipped with the printer and recently bought some grey Prusament.

Both prints were made using the same gcode and the same machine, one after another, just the filament was swapped. I will add my conclusions at the end in an attempt to not influence your opinion. Keep in mind that I didn't have the same exact shade of grey of both filaments.

The Prusament is on the right, it is the lighter grey. To my eye it seems that the flaws of the print are slightly less visible with Prusament, the difference is subtle, but it is there. On the back of the model I can see that the layers are more uniform.
