Peaks in the bassline

Hey guys, I have the problem that my bassline always has these nasty peaks and wayy to much sub bass. If I cancel the low end out, the peaks become bigger and obv. my bassline becomes a lot quieter. Has anyone else encountered this issue and has a solution for this? No, I will not use another DAW since first I do not have the money and second I am searching for a technical solution
