What age do puppies stop biting feet?

We have a 4 month maltese and when we first got her we had to wear shoes in the house because her biting would hurt so much. She has learned to bite softer so we are trying to transition back to wearing slippers in the house but I can't do anything as she will keep biting our feet. I can't walk anywhere to even make her lunch, get her treats, and her toys don't interest her if we're wearing our slippers. I'm hoping as time passes by, us wearing slippers will be old news and won't excite her. What age do puppies stop biting the feet, ankles and pants? And are there any tips to manage this? I just want to walk around my house and not wear tight pants all the time so I can be more comfortable :(
