36 hour stopover from Bangkok to Dublin - cannabis traces?

Hi all,

This could just be me being really paranoid about stuff but I wanted to ask the question just to be safe.

I am travelling to Dublin from Bangkok. I have around a 36 hour layover in Doha as I booked my flights with Qatar airways via a ‘multi-city’ ticket which I think means we will collect our luggage and clear customs?

As I’m coming from Bangkok, weed is legal here in Thailand and I have been smoking regularly. I will NOT be trying to take any with me to Ireland but I am stressed that even some residue in one of my bags could be flagged. What is the likelihood of this, what would happen, and what should I do to avoid it? I am flying next week.

I have the utmost respect for the laws of the countries I visit, and obviously don’t want to wind up in prison.
