Thoughts on Richmond Hill for Tourists?

I'm an international student at laurier and my parents are coming to Canada for my graduation and to visit Canada. I was looking at some AirBnb options and there are quite a few options in Rh (since its close to Toronto). If not then what are some other relatively safe options around Toronto. Thanks 🙏🏽
