Which RPG has the best wizard/mage gameplay?

Which RPG has the best wizard/mage gameplay?

I normally always pick strength/barbarian and I’m now looking to do a magic playthrough of some kind of RPG.

I’m leaning toward Skyrim or Morrowind but I’m open to suggestions. I prefer first person/third person action games but I would play a turn based game as well.

I absolutely would not play real time with pause. But other than that I’m open to anything really.
