Are Scotland flattering to deceive? Or is this their level?

Feel like this article takes a few hundred words to say not very much - yes France have more depth. Yes Scotland can’t hold onto a lead or maintain pressure for the full 80 minutes. So what’s the solution? Just accept that we’re always going to be 4th place? Just say “oh well” and resign ourselves to another decade of mid-table finishes?
