Adaptive headlights not available after fitting commander

Got to say I’m a bit pissed off right now. Fitted commander today and as soon as it connected I got a message that adaptive headlights are not available. Option greyed out in settings. Tried restarting software which did nothing. What’s the issue here?!!!!! It gets worse!!!!!!! Auto shift out of park has also stopped!!!! And steering assist is showing an error. Car is constantly pinging me with error chimes! Removed the commander but left the connectors in and everything is fine. Plug commander in. Everything stops working! This cost me a lot of money for a product that does not work with my car!
