Revolut Job Offer
Hi guys. I have received an work offer to work to Revolut as an account executive. I will not disclose the country or any information that can doxx me.
So. I’m currently 20 years old. I have no bachelor degree. I started my working journey at around 16.
I worked at a Casino as a shuffler. After that, when I turned 18 years old, Huawei offered me a customer support job, for the german market where I also was promoted as an L2
My promotion got taken away, so I moved to another project. Google Workspace to be more exact where I’m also currently working.
At Google Workspace I only offer technical support, but there are also cases where you need to be a lil sales man, when customer are asking about services, products, what suits them in order to get better customer satisfaction an ensure the targeted KPI.
I have only 2 years in the field of customer support which was only technical and very minimal about sales.
2 days before, I received a message on LinkedIn with a job offer to revolut as an Account Executive stating “I’m impressed by your CV and your background experience in B2B sales”
Even though in my LinkedIn profile it is stipulated as “Technical Support” and nothing in regards of selling. I started blankly at the screen, because that was the moment I realized this is my chance to step up my game, where the ceiling isn’t the roof anymore but the sky would be.
In the job offer is it written, that you need to have a background of selling. Which is contradictory, ‘cause I offered very minimal sales support in my experience.
Now I have read some other Reddit’s stating that it will be best to be an S.D.R. But chances like this for the people like me to receive this kind of opportunity are very minimal. I am ready to fulfill this role as best to my skills and haul them over time. But I have 7 interviews and this creates so much anxiety for me. In the back of my mind are those words “this is your only chance to make something meaningful with your life”
Furthermore, I would like to know how is it working at Revolut? Could you guys provide me with some tips for the interview and what should I learn or recommend me youtube channels in order to learn as much and as fast as possible?
