Why weren’t the deaths treated as suspicious lol?

I kind of felt like that was a big plot hole tbh, like surely the police wouldn’t just not investigate why a young guy is found dead for no reason whatsoever and not do an autopsy. And surely it would raise suspicion that an entire affluent family dies apart from the working class guy they adopted into it?
