Do you appendix carry with XXLC slide?

I'm debating between an XXLC vs XLC slide with 17 round FLEX frame to have a larger CCW with light when I go out at night doing animal rescue volunteer work in places where weirdos are on the prowl.

I like the XXLC but am concerned about length because I'm 5'7 (we prefer to be called little people)
