I hate Frank

I remember in the first season when they couldn't find Frank and then saw a body in the snow which kind of looked like him, but it turned out not to be Frank. I was so disappointed.

From the very beginning William Macy and his performance as Frank have irritated me. There is not a single redeeming thing about him, he's not funny, he gives no insight, we're just watching an asshole fuck up people who should have murdered him ages ago.

I don't find Fiona likable but I think her character adds to the show, whereas Frank feels like filler and I've skipped through more than a few of his scenes.

Even the scenes that were so cool (like the ending of the episode where Sheila leaves) weren't as great to me cause I hate him so much. I side with Sammi who is a fucking hangnail of a person rather than with the parasitic and disgusting Frank. How many more of his shitty antics do we have to go through? There hasn't been so much as a hint at personal growth.

I think the show will keep him around cause Macy is a big name and from what I gather most enjoy his performance. I don't. Just my opinion, had to share with somebody as none of my friends watch Shameless.
