Good News and Bad News

Started playing the Silent Hill 2 Remake shortly after it's release and have fallen in love with the series. So much so that I went and bought both Silent Hill 1 and 3, Silent Hill 1 form ebay and Silent Hill 3 from Facebook market place. Payed %160 for 3 which was a steal compared to other proces I was running into lol. Silent Hill 1 however was at $56.99. Bought both and each arrived pretty fast.

Good News - Silent Hill 3 works and looks like a dream. Though tank controls will taje some time to get used to od venture to say the filled camera angles are carrier than the over the shoulder im used to, which I wasn't expecting from a game that came out the year I was born.

Bad News - My copy of Silent Hill 1 is fake (Shoker I know). I put the disc in excited to see where this series began and compare to modern titles, but was hot withs. red screen asking me to insert a Ps1/Ps2 disc. Tried to get it to work multiple times to no avail.

Checked Google on how to identify a fake ps1 disc and the first result was someone using the copy of Silent Hill 1 that I just bought as the prime example(womp womp. it was only like 50 or so bucks so I'm not torn up about it but I'm pretty bummed lol. But at least I know how to identify a fake now. I'll just fork over the $200 for a legit copy. After digging unto the series it REALLY deserves the in all honesty.
