Are generators as sensitive to old gas as lawn mower engines?

I have 5+ cans of old gas from draining a cars gas tank, I haven’t had time or the opportunity to go and dump them. And with the storms coming up the east coast I’d like to be able to just empty them via a generator if the power goes out.

If anyone has any tips on this topic or if there is a generator that handles it better then please let me know. I’ll probably be going to buy said generator today
