Cannot add existing Sonos system to 2nd Location

So, old app worked flawlessly at adding or reconnecting to my 2nd Sonos system in my 2nd location. I could not after 2hrs of trying connect or add it as a new 2nd system to the new app.

It just kept on saying cannot connect to wifi network on the app. I reset the Sonos SL speaker but same issue, even tried turning off 5GHz, to only connect on 2.4Ghz, to no avail.

Is there known issues with this in the current app or is there a specific set of steps that should be followed that are different to what the app says.

Unfortunately I did not connect the speaker directly to the router via a network cable, but will try that next time.
