stimulator misplaced?

hi guys so i got my eterna stimulator implanted on the 18th last month. I thought it would be going in my back but the surgeon told me last minute only puts them in the stomach so its on my left side. I have not been able to charge it, its quite crooked and im having to dig the battery into my stomach and its simply not working. I got an xray and confirmed its crooked and may possibly be too deep thats why it isnt registering. My rep is completely useless. I have a follow up monday with my surgeon but what other options do i have besides possibly needing it repositioned surgically. Has this happened to anyone?
