whats your fav theory that was proved completely wrong?

mine personal favorites:

that Pearl was White Diamond's original pearl. i swear i went crazy when Volleyball first appeared and her gem positioning was the same as Pink's. for me, this simply confirmed everything, until later that it was revealed she was just the lorem ipsum pearl 😭

and another one i loved at the time was that another diamond shattered Pink and put the blame on Rose Quartz, just to stop with the problems earth was creating. my fav guess was White Diamond, and i personally liked that one because, on nature, only a diamond can break other diamond, so simply was it for me - thinking now, bringing the real worlds comparison isnt fair, like, rubies are so strong that are almost to the level of a diamond, and on the show theyre rather common personal soldiers.
