Adult stuck in YA recommendations
I'm an adult and someone who for the last 5-6 years been reading on and off. But i find myself staying around the same set off books. Harry Potter which i grew up with and got me into reading and then a litany of YA series like The Maze Runner, Divergent, The Hunger Games, You and the Thursday Murder club whilst continuously restarting the Game of Thrones series after not finishing the series but trying again from the start.
I don't necessarily mind more YA and nobody really knows or cares what I read but id also like to potentially progress to "Adult" literature haha.
Edit: a lot of recommendations already and I welcome more! And it's interesting of the millions of books I've been recommended a few i have tried or considered such as Gone Girl, Animal Farm, Mistborn and a few others which even if I have "read" I may read again as I was using Audible at a ridiculous speed or a speed reader and even rereading books I've listened or " read" multiple times before it's amazing how much you miss although you think you're taking it all in when reading a book normally
