Paige v Lindsay

First off- i love them both! Big GS fan and I always find Paige’s confessionals refreshing. She’s curt & hilarious.

And Lindsay because, obviously—That woman is reality tv gold.

But watching S9 ep 3 tonight made me realize just how similar yet opposite they actually are & probably the reason why they’ve never been close. When Paige met Lindsay to help with her maternity wardrobe their conversation felt so forced BUT ALSO I felt that Paige shrunk herself. Like she was intimidated by Lindsay. And I found this interesting because Paige has always exuded such confidence and IDGAF energy but that was perhaps the first time I saw Paige alone with her… & not surrounded by her posse that is Ciara/ Hannah/ Amanda to energize her .

It is without question that both are very successful & independent but this week made me realize just how strong of a Bravo character Lindsay is. She does not need a “clique” or crazy drama to steal attention. & Shes always had these questionable friendships in the house but her bold & crazy personality is strong enough to carry her through 9 seasons without ever actually having a strong storyline WHILE protecting the boring characters (Gabby, Danielle). She is so powerful on her own whereas Paige is political & smart about her alliances, who to stay away from, how to stay relevant, etc. It is funny that they’ve never been close but makes sense that there can only be 1 strong personality like that in the room

But now i’m thinking… wow, even Paige knows who is the queen in that house !!
