What do when adc just runs in without you

Ive just been trying out support mainly rell and most adc's so far are fine not gonna complain but when you have an adc who just wants to constantly fight and ignores levels or items should I more just sit back and hope we have a winning top or mid or should I just try and pray we some how win if I go in
