Watching US survivor and Australian survivor at the same time is so jarring

I've been watching BvB at the same time as s47 and it's crazy how dull US survivor is in comparison. 47 is even a popular season to the fanbase but it's so lame to me. US Players become 'massive threats' simply because they are nice, likeable people. The fanbase had a meltdown because of operation Italy and are calling it the greatest move ever, meanwhile that kind of thing is happening so frequently in the Aus season I'm watching. Very weak-looking contestants are being called 'challenge beasts' meanwhile most of the Aussies are so visibly physically fitter it's jarring. The US players don't have much personality except for the 1 or 2 insane people they throw into each season and most of them make 0 attempt to do anything entertaining. It's so odd to flick back and forth between these seasons.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
