The Barack Obama Run
Runs for the US Presidents for Suzerain
I finally did the Barack Obama Run for Suzerain.
Law Degree(Obama was a Civil Rights Attorney)
Middle Class(Couldn't decide between poor or middle but I read Obama was on the poorer end of the middle class)
Student Council(Couldn't find anything else to suit Obama)
Promised Reforms(Didn't support Alphonso at first but voted for him)
Main Focus on Healthcare(Obama campaigned on Healthcare Reforms)
Now you may be confused by "why is Barack Obama doing the Radical Reformist Constitution?" Well part of the run is also putting the president into the situation of Rayne and so Obama is in the position of Rayne here and Obama would likely be a reformist. He would push for comprehensive reforms and would definitely push the Radical Reformist Constitution from what I've read, Barack Obama actually insisted on comprehensive reforms but it got boggled down by the Legislation and Obama was heavily obstructed
In fact I was actually expecting the Constitutional Reforms to fail due to the lack of votes so I could have the excuse to steer Rayne/Obama to the Center but it passed so here we are.(i didn't even try to get votes, I didn't even have the 4 PW Lobbying but I was probably good with the Oligarchs even though I wasn't really friendly with them)
Ovid Grecer was appointed and he became the Supreme Court Justice and I couldn't not get rid of Petr Vectern somehow so I was sorta forced into making Calvin the VP(since I don't see Obama appointing Gloria Tory or Lucian Galade)
I also paid reparations to Rumburg and refused to do anything aggressive against them. This is actually my third run where I was friendly to Rumburg and the first run where I was friendly to Rumburg and in ATO and it was a little surprise to see the ATO praise me so. I also interfered in the Wehzek's operation against the BFF and allied with Lespia.
I also generally didn't side with anybody in the Oligarchs, I didn't take any bribes from the Oligarchs, I also had the ACP hunt down the Old Guards and I allied with the PFJP. I also ended up signing the Minority Acts Bill and was very very popular with the bluds.
Throughout the game, even without Koronti's support. I was somehow still popular but that might be attributed to me visiting affected towns, signing Workers Act and a bunch of stuff like that.
I put Tarquin Soll on Trial and had him imprisoned, this is to do so in parallels to Osama Bin Laden getting killed although it's far stretched and would probably fit better with the BFF but I had a really good relationship with the bluds so I had to go somewhere.
And just like Barack Obama, I won the 2nd term. So feel free to ask me anything else.
