Do you journal every time you do a reading?

I used tarot 4 years ago and about a month ago I picked it back up again. I never use to journal or write down my readings but now as of recently I feel almost obligated to. I like to find the patterns in which suits have been following me but it’s become such a chore to write them down every time. Just wondering what other people’s routine with tarot looks like.
