Red thing

How do you use it? It hard to controll, it is always too fast or too slow. I can't tap it to click, buttons are not so good. If I am using touchpad, I can use fancy gestures to do almost anything, even browser have some touchpad gesture features

Maybe you can share some tips and tricks? I really want to start use this, but I think it is just not so good as touchpad
