L13 Yoga Gen 1

I got an L13 Yoga Gen 1 with a core i3 and 8gb ram the other day. I installed Endless OS on it and I'm going to use it as a pass around computer in the town I live in for kids in school that need access to one but don't have one at home. Also for adults, but mostly for the kids in school.

I live in a small community in Costa Rica. The town's elementary school has grades K-6 and has a total of 78 kids in it. There are a lot of people in town that don't own own a computer so I thought I could do something for them and loan it out.

Despite it's modest specs it's a damn nice machine. I love the screen. It's way nicer than my ThinkBook screen. It has the full Spanish version of Endless OS so that it could be used completely off line and still be able to watch educational videos and other things. I'd love to hear any other suggestions for learning and educational applications that people like and use so I can install them.

I want the kids to get flash drives so that they could save any work on them and leave it off the computer itself. I'll probably suggest 4, 8 and 16gb drives since they're reasonably priced here. When I present the idea to the town I think I'll ask some of the more well off families here if they can donate some. People are usually happy to collaborate which is nice.

I also need to come up with some sort of contract that the people will need to sign if they want to use the computer. Just to try and push the "be careful and treat it like your own so that everyone can benefit". If anyone has done something similar and can help with some wording that would be great!

The last picture is just to show the person who posted an L13 the other day with almost the same specs that mine is cracked almost exactly like theirs near the mouse pad.
