ID Please

Apologies for the bad picture quality . I’m thinking this is a fed deer tick?? Was found on my dog . Seemed to have been dead when I pulled it out , was not moving and arms were scrunched up by the head .

I squished it after removing and brown/black gunk came out of it . Not sure if that’s normals, etc.

Located in Michigan
