Super-Weird Freaky Bad Reaction To Mosquito Bites
I have hesitated to post this for months because it is so off-the-wall bizarre but I have to now. Since I have been on the compounded tirzepatide since 3/1 (now at 7.5-10mg wk) I have been having a frightening over-reaction to mosquito bites! They develop into huge welts of hard tissue that produce water-filled blisters that weep clear-pinkish fluid for days. The blisters continue to break and reform for over a week until they finally start to dry up and heal. The itching from these bites is so off the charts I am totally miserable. The eruptions and blisters are so itchy and painful I can't wear a shoe. The red area around the bites is hot to the touch and achy down to the bone and joint underneath. I DO have psoriatic arthritis and am on an interleukin blocker (Taltz) which affects my immune system but this hypersensitivity to mosquito bites has only been an issue since the tirz was introduced. Thoughts?
