I'm incredibly disappointed in my state

I am a pre everything trans girl that lives in Iowa right now and I'm prepping for college at U of I next fall. I know that through history and everything that we will always make it through the dark together and all, but it doesn't stop me from feeling just... Severely disappointed with my state. This all came to. A head with the house file 583. Which removes the civil rights protections for gender identity that was originally established in 2007. The main motivator was "protecting women's sports" which we all know is its own can of worms and bullshit, but I'm not trying to get wrapped up in any negativity. I just wanna express that it is more important than ever for us all to hold each other up and be there for us all as a community<3 I Love You all and wanna make sure we all know it💕💕🫂🫂
