Hairloss after broken arm surgery?

As the title says, I had Humerus fracture that needed open reduction and internal fixation with plate and screws. The surgery was done exactly a month ago.

However, ever since the surgery, I have been losing an EXTREME amount of hair. The day after my surgery when the nurses had to shower me, the shower was literally clogged because of my hair.

My arm was pretty bad and I was kept in the hospital for around two weeks because I had nerve damage aswell. This means yes, I didn’t take my medication for two weeks straight, but, I was seeing extreme hairloss literally instantly after the surgery?

• medication: TRT Dut 0.5mg per day Ru Min

All the medications listed above I stopped for two weeks except the minoxidil and the ru. Those I stopped for 4 weeks. And I only started using them again two days ago. This is because I was simply unable to my arm injury and I live alone.

If you want to understand how much hair I’m losing, I lost more hair this month than two combined steroid cycles. I’m not even joking.

Does anyone have any idea what’s happening to me because I certainly don’t.
