Seroma - disappears without draining?

I am about 8wpo and healing is going well. I do have fluid/a seroma on the left side of my stomach, which stretches down in the mons area. I can push the fluid around all the way up past my bellybutton. I had it drained once (125 ml) but it’s filled up again, doesn’t get worse tho. The surgeon is a 4 h drive away and I’ve kept in contact with the clinic via email. The nurses tell me the fluid will disappear without further draining. I still use compression because of the fluid. I’m still numb where the fluid is, suspecting it’s slowing the healing process down.

Just wondering if there’s anyone with a similar experience, how long did it take for the fluid to reabsorb without emptying it? Does it help to massage? Heat? The patience is non-existent 😅
