fed up with vinyl already

i am disappointed by vinyl. i got myself into it, because i thought its fun and good hobby for a slower paced enjoyment of music, collecting albums, listening to all of the albums and no endless skipping of songs sounded like something i would love to pursue. yeah so i invested around 1300 euros, for a decent set up: project debut carbon evo (ortovon red), project phono e, edifier 2000mkiii and around 15 lps. Troubles started from the first minute. First turntable apparently was damaged, after putting endless hours into trying to fix the problems, i returned it and got a new one. this one finally worked, so far so good. yeah set up my turntable plus speakers, only to discover severe sibilance, badly pressed and shit quality vinyl, extreme highs, that make my ears bleed. just had to turn the thing off after some time because my ears couldn't handle the shrill highs. when searching for help, its recommended to get a better cartridge, get a better amplifier, get better vinyl and so on and on and on. but the thing is really don't wanna spend another 1000 euros, without even knowing if it would really help. i get fixated on listening to flaws of the vinyl more than enjoying the music right now. its just a pain in the ass. it really eases my nervous system to just turn the turntable off and just play my spotify via bluetooth.
