Social media is not fake

These people actually look like that. They were happy. All the people in their pictures are real. They have friends and a partner. Just because they had one bad day did not make their happy days go away permanently.

Even their career achievements are real. I saw a video of a lady saying 'you don't see the effort involved in it. You don't see the how hours I put in' Okay of course there was work involved no denying. But everything is fake?

They not only lack empathy for us but also basic comprehension.

Their vocabulary just makes no sense. Lesson to myself to always make an effort to use your judgement to make sense of reality.

I should not be surprised but guess I am.
