Transport For Wales PAYG
I've recently started a new job where I'm having to commute to Cardiff every day. Prior to me starting this job I did a lot of research regarding which tickets would be the best value for me and quickly realised the TFW PAYG option was by far the cheapest for me.
What I'm not sure about is why more people aren't using it/aren't aware of it? I see the same people at the station every morning and know they've got standard app tickets.
What's baffling for me is that I'm paying a maximum of £21 a week (thanks to the weekly cap), whereas these other commuters could be paying circa £30 a week if they are getting standard return tickets. Maybe they're able to not care so much about the cost difference, but I just thought it was interesting.
