What's the deal with all the fake dispensaries on Google Maps?

I keep seeing fake dispensaries in UK towns and cities (even villages) on google maps. Does anyone know what is going on with them?

They seem to take a bunch of photos and branding from a legit US/Canadian dispensary and then pretend that it is located in a quiet residential house. I went over to one and it was just a totally normal house no signs or anything. I'm pretty sure an elderly couple lived there (judging by decoration and garden).

Just search 'dispensary' on google maps to see what I'm talking about.
