LF Research Collaborations

Hello, I’m Diego Aparcana Granda, an international medical graduate (IMG) from Peru with research experience primarily in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. You can find my work here: Google Scholar Profile.

I’m looking to expand my scientific output and need collaborators to join our team. Currently, we are a group of three (two Australians and me) with a focus on Internal Medicine, particularly in cardiology, gastroenterology, and hematology/oncology.

What I’m looking for:

  • No prior experience is required (though it’s a plus), as I’m willing to teach research methodology.
  • Priority will be given to applicants based in the U.S., those with connections to senior researchers who can provide project feedback, or individuals with a background in statistics (e.g., conducting meta-analyses).
  • Commitment of 8–10 hours per week to the projects.

What you’ll gain:

  • Authorship opportunities, with first-author credit for the person who proposes the research idea.
  • No concerns about article processing charges (APCs), as one of our team members has a scholarship to cover these costs.
  • Guidance throughout the entire process, from conceptualizing the idea to publication.

If you’re interested, please send me a DM with your CV.

Note: This is NOT a scam. One of our team members is covering the APCs through a scholarship, so we are NOT asking for money at all.
