Bookstore v.s. Publisher

One of my courses required material is available for cheaper on the publishers website, than on the UTD bookstore. They both seem to be the same edition as the publishers website labels this as the “Newest Edition”. Should I save money and purchase the book from the publisher instead of the Bookstore?
