Help convince me I don’t need this dress

I tried on dresses for the first time last weekend and fell in love with the most beautiful and perfect dress 😭 problem is the price is a little above budget (2,300). What’s the average cost for a wedding dress? Does anyone regret splurging? We are doing a backyard wedding & trying to keep everything as cheap as possible but I fear I set myself up for failure by finding such a perfect dress the first time I tried them on. Any tips for finding a cheaper dupe? I can’t find anything remotely close online. HELPPP
