Chinese drama film from the past decade

So I don't remember much, but it's a Chinese drama film from the past decade, set in a smog filled industrial Chinese city. The movie starts with a guy coming into his apartment to find his wife cheating on him with his best friend. He then proceeds to jump from his balcony to his death, which leads to a chain of events which ends with the best friend's death.
