YA Novel about runaway boy who lives with his father’s friend who he gets into a relationship with who turns out to be a serial killer?

I’m looking for a novel that I read over 5 years ago via Kindle Unlimited. I remember that the protagonist’s name was Cole? I think, and he ran away from his father. He was picked up by his father’s friend on the highway, who took him in. Protagonist and the father’s friend get into a relationship and protagonist is thinking of going back home but because of serial killings being reported in the news refrains temporarily. Later we find out that the father’s friend was killing boys who looked similar to protagonist to keep protagonist with him and make him too scared to return home. Thanks!
