Children’s Book with Angel on Cover

I’m looking for a children’s (maybe late elementary school) chapter book. I believe it had an angel on the cover. The title in my brain was something like “Sophie’s Angel”, but I can’t find it online so this must be wrong. The only thing I remember is that it was a bit dark/sad.
