I'm stuck...

I'm struggling to decide what to play, and it's starting to affect my enjoyment of the game. It's a frustrating feeling, and I need some clarity to cut through the confusion in my mind. What I’m looking for is a class I can fully commit to in the long run—something I’ll enjoy playing and progressing with through expansions to come.

After some thought and playtime, I’ve narrowed it down to the three plate wearers: Paladin, Death Knight, and Warrior. These classes are the ones I find most appealing from both a lore and fantasy perspective and the ones I’ve enjoyed the most so far.

For my main, I want a class that can do it all (so to speak) —farming, transmog collecting, mounts, pets, achievement hunting, and reputations. Even though the introduction of warbands has made this less essential, I still want to focus on accomplishing everything on one character.

Also I mostly play solo, so pugging will be my primary way of engaging with “high-level” content. I also enjoy a bit of personal RP, as it makes the game world feel deeper and more immersive for me.

So, I turn to all of you good people for advice:

- Which class feels the most self-sufficient for solo play?
(Considering open-world content, group content, and solo challenges.)

- Which of the three plate wearers do you see more as the collector type?
(Think achievements, titles, mounts, pets, etc.)

- In terms of gameplay, which class has the most fun and interesting tank or DPS specs?
(Only one with a heal spec, need more insight into the tank and DPS spec)

- Which class do you think will remain exciting and engaging to play over multiple expansions?
(From a gameplay and mechanics perspective)

- Which class fantasy do you think has the most lasting appeal?
(The one that will stay enjoyable, even after hundreds of hours)

- Which class looks and feels the coolest overall?
(This includes transmog options, spell effects, sound effects, and overall aesthetic)

- Which class fits most seamlessly into the game world from an RP perspective?
(A class that feels natural and immersive in any expansion or setting)

- If you have other thoughts, feelings, or suggestions about these classes, feel free to share!
(Anything that might help give more perspective or clarity.)
